We need your help! We are very low on volunteers to work at Degel Bingo on Sunday evenings. This fundraiser earns $5000/year for Shaarai and we really do not want to lose this opportunity. Our budget depends on this income! Our job is to sell the instant winner games (pulltabs) and work the concession stand. Both jobs require you to be on your feet most of the time. We only need one or two people a week - you can volunteer monthly or as often as you wish. Please say yes - we need you now. Please contact Dan Lieberman at .
Stacey Freedman, chair of the Sisterhood Meals for New Mothers and Others wants to create a database of anyone willing to be called for occasional meal preparation and delivery. Interested individuals can email her at and she will add them to the list of those to call on to make meals when the need arises.

If you or a family member has a used wheelchair in good condition no longer being used, please consider donating it to Jewish Family Service. For more information, please call 293-1928.

We are taking an amazing journey and we are inviting you to take part. Thousands of women and men are going to walk 60 miles over the course of three days to raise money for breast cancer research and community outreach through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
Our team is called Step It Up 09. Each of us is walking for his or her own individual and personal reasons. Together, our team is raising funds to help end breast cancer forever. We need your help.
Because every woman is at risk for breast cancer - a disease that strikes at random and for which the causes and cures are still unknown - we know that every moment counts. Without a cure, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer - and 10 million could die - over the next 25 years.
