Youth Education: Support is needed from parents and teachers of children who are able to help the Jewish Family Service of Lancaster organize programs, workshops, and seminars that help young people and their families face the unique school age challenges of sexual abuse, discrimination, drug use and addiction, and mental illness awareness.

Interested volunteers can call Jill Weisberg at jfshelps@gmail.com.

READ WITH A STUDENT

Volunteers are needed in the School District of Lancaster to help implement a reading program where students practice reading aloud one-to-one with an adult. Just by donating your time, you'd have a vital impact on the future success of that student. For more details, contact Bob Houghton at la6756@gmail.com. The greatest volunteer need for the school district is at Carter and MacRae Elementary School.
